Business Developer for Home Healthcare

Home Healthcare

Home healthcare is intended for individuals who cannot visit a healthcare center or clinic as needed for medical interventions, nursing, and rehabilitation, or where the purpose of care is deemed best achieved if provided at home.

The goal of home healthcare is collaboration for good and safe care, as well as ensuring that patients feel secure, well-received, and involved in the design of the services we offer.

Home healthcare is part of the social services department. It is divided into multiprofessional teams with district nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nursing assistants. Home healthcare is divided into three geographical areas: northern and central Gotland, Visby, and southern Gotland. Home healthcare has about 80 employees.

Your Responsibilities

As a business developer, you will drive improvement and development efforts. You will be part of the management team and work closely with managers, digitalization coordinators, and employees. You will plan, implement, and follow up on routines, guidelines, and working methods. You will also assist in investigations concerning deviations. You are expected to contribute to strengthening the organization's learning, follow-up, and improvement based on evidence, legal requirements, and patient perspectives.

Who Are You?

You have a relevant university degree and previous experience working with business development, preferably within healthcare or elderly care. If you also have training or experience in change management, project management, or process development, we consider that an advantage.

You are accustomed to working with assignments or processes that involve several different units within an organization. You should be able to understand complex issues while maintaining both an organizational and patient perspective.

Your working style is trustworthy, and your holistic view allows you to collaborate well with others. You have a clear structure regarding planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. You express yourself well in both speech and writing.

To succeed in this role, you need to be able to take initiative and have the ability to work independently and be proactive in improvement efforts and projects based on the priorities set by the department's management team.

About the Social Services Department

As part of Region Gotland, we work in the social services department with social interventions such as counseling, support, and treatment. Our areas of operation include social services, home healthcare, elderly care, and care for individuals with disabilities throughout Gotland. Around the clock, we meet people of all ages and with various needs; children, families, adults, and the elderly. Together, we create good conditions for care, support, and service throughout life.
